Due to the fact that Arkansas only has a few schools currently offering programs in pharmacy technician, some students my find it difficult to attend school. However, more are implementing legislation to require pharmacy technicians to be certified. Sooner or later, Arkansas is expected to follow this trend. That is why it is important that pharmacy technicians in Arkansas find a source for formal training and certification. Thankfully, there are many online schools which offer training to pharmacy technicians. Most online programs do not offer an externship as part of training. This can be a disadvantage when it comes to getting that first job, but it is still an advantage over those who have no formal training or certification.

Some schools which offer online pharmacy technician training include:

Rasmussen College

Ashworth College
